A big congratulations to our Harrup Park Ruby North Mackay Monarchs on their Ruby North Division Competition which finished mid August! What an experience for our young Monarchs! The four cluster weekends were held in Mackay, Rockampton, Townsvllle and Cairns with incredible talent and skill on display from the best netball athletes in each region. The competition has given this group valuable experience, and a great foundation to build from as we look towards 2027. We’re so proud of the way this young team has embraced the challenge, and we’re excited to see what the future holds. A huge thank you to our incredible sponsors for getting behind the Monarchs and supporting the team throughout the competition. 🙏🏼 And to the family and friends for their invaluable support of the girls through training, travelling and cheering on game day! We’re incredibly grateful to have you along for the journey! Well done girls - until 2027!! 🙌🏼

Congratulations to all the players who represented the Mackay Monarchs this year! A huge thank you to the Coaches, Managers and Officials - participation in Events like these aren't possible without our Coaches, Managers and Officials. The Senior State Age competition was held in April in Townsville. Special mention to the 18 Maroons who reached the finals.

The final round of the Ruby North Series will be held in Cairns on 15th and 16th August. This is the final Cluster Weekend for the Mackay Monarchs, having hosted the first round in Mackay in May, then travelling to Rockhampton in June and Townsville in July. We wish you all the best girls!!

Mackay Netball Association is excited to announce the upcoming Ruby North Development Weekend, to be held on 📅15 -17 May! This is a valuable opportunity for players, coaches, and umpires to further develop their skills, knowledge, and confidence within a supportive and inclusive environment. The weekend will feature a range of development opportunities, including: - Coach Development Workshops - Umpire Development Workshops - Junior Skills Clinics for 11-12-13 year olds - Junior Skills Clinic for 14-15-16 year olds - Live Game Mentoring Session These Workshops are designed to support participants at all stages of their netball journey, from those just beginning through to those looking to refine and advance their skills. Along with the Workshops, there will be Brunch with our Special Guest Speakers as well as opportunities to connect and network with others in the netball community. 👉Further information, including session details and registration, will be released very soon! Our JSA players recently attended Fitness Cartel Mackay in preparation for the JSA Competition being held on the Gold Coast over the school holidays! The 12s were put through their paces in a Functional Fitness session with Coach Terrence. 🔥 Teams 14 Blue and 13 Maroon took part in a Reformer Pilates session. 🙌 Thanks Fitness Cartel for being a valued sponsor of our JSA teams in 2026!
